Industrial visit was carried out at NappinaiPvt Ltd. on 10th August, 2017 especially for final year students. The main objective behind the visit was to make student aware about how various activities related to marketing, financing and human resource are carried out in company and give them feel of managers as soon as they start there course.I along with 32 students left for visit at 10 a.m. and took about an hour to cover the distance. The company is located in Besant nagar in Chennai city.
As soon as we reached company we were guided by Mr Naiodrven to the orientation of company was given by heads of production department about history and how company was established.
We were welcomed by the employees of the company. They introduced to their product which is a Electrical Bike 3 Wheeler. The production team explained their vehicle part by part. An discussion was held between our students and the experts on the working and designing of the product.
We were told on the product design and the sourcing of the items from different vendors. It was a combination of 48v lead acid battery with a 250W Hub BLDC motor.
It can run 30 km with one full charge of the battery. The price it offers is at Rs.23,536. We were given test ride on the vehicle and it was so much fun.
We gave a compliment gift to the founder of the company.
An inspiring speech was given to the students by the founder on the path of his hard entrepreneurial journey.
A practical knowledge was given to the students on designing of Electrical Vehicle Me along with students would like to extend our gratitude to company for permission and support they gave to make our visit a success with accomplishment of objective and our faculty Mr. Benjamin Benhur for arranging this visit for our students.
Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of our institution. The institute has provided the complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students.

Our Institution has been enrolled on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) which comes under the Board(s) of Apprenticeship Training / Board of Practical Training An autonomous organization of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Government of India.
National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS)
The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme in India is a one year programme equipping technically qualified youth with practical knowledge and skills required in their field of work. The Apprentices are imparted training by the organizations at their place of work. Trained Managers with well developed training modules ensure that Apprentices learn the job quickly and competently. During the period of apprenticeship, the apprentices are paid a stipend amount, 50% of which is reimbursable to the employer from Government of India. At the end of the training period the apprentices are issued a Certificate of Proficiency by Government of India which can be registered at all employment exchanges across India as valid employment experience. The apprentices are placed for training at Central, State and Private organizations which have excellent training facilities. National Apprenticeship Training Scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Government of India for Skilling Indian Youth.

Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, Government of Tamil Nadu Organised national entrepreneurship day on 9th November 2017 at Hotel Ramada plaza, Guindy, Chennai.
